Cove / swim stop
- Cala Tamariello
- A cove on San Domino's north side, pines running down to the rocks and the sea.
- Punta del Diamante
- A rocky point to the north, deep clear water for a dip off the dinghy.
- Cala Tonda
- A round cove reachable only by sea, with a cave running about thirty metres into the rock.
- Cala degli Inglesi
- A cove on San Domino's west side, deep blue water: a snorkelling favourite.
- Cala dei Benedettini
- A rocky inlet on the west side, under an intense blue sea loved by snorkellers and divers.
- Punta Secca
- A point on San Domino's west side, a swim stop in crystal-clear water.
- L'Artichello
- A small rock arch on San Domino's west side, best admired as you approach by dinghy.
- Le Tre Senghe
- Three clefts in the rock on San Domino's south side, deep water among the rocks.
- Cala Zio Cesare
- A quiet cove on San Domino's south side, a swim stop away from the crowds.
- Cala del Sale
- A cove on San Domino's south side, shallow clear water for a swim.
- Elephant Rock
- A rock some twenty metres high carved by the sea into a drinking elephant. Below it, one of the finest dive sites.
- Cala Matano
- Also called Cala Duchessa, on the south-east side between cliffs and greenery. Beloved by Lucio Dalla, it inspired his 'Luna Matano'.
- Cala dello Spido
- A rocky cove on San Domino's east side, a swim stop in clear water.
- Cala delle Arene
- The only sandy beach in all the Tremiti: fine white sand on San Domino’s east side, with a shallow, gently sloping seabed.
- The Pagliai stacks
- Rocks rising from the sea like bales of straw, among the most photographed sights of the Tremiti. Reachable only by boat.
- Pietra di Fucile
- A rock in the channel between the islands, a swim stop out in the blue.
- Cala dei Turchi
- High white cliffs plunging into the sea on the Caprara side, one of the most scenic views of the archipelago.
- Scoglietti
- Shallows and surfacing rocks between Cretaccio and San Nicola: postcard snorkelling, with the submerged statue close by.
- Submerged San Pio statue
- A bronze statue 13 m down, between Cretaccio and San Nicola: arms open toward the surface, ringed by fish. You can already glimpse it with mask and fins.
- Cala dei Vermi
- A sheltered cove on Caprara, a perfect stop for a dip in clear water.
- L'Architiello arch
- The rock arch that symbolises the Tremiti, near the Caprara lighthouse: 5 m wide and 6 m tall, it encloses a small emerald lagoon. You can pull right up with the dinghy.
- Cala Marinello
- A quiet inlet between San Nicola and Caprara, calm water and a clear seabed.
- Cimitero cove
- A cove below San Nicola's small clifftop cemetery, deep water among the rocks.
- Le Femmine
- Surfacing rocks south of San Nicola, a tucked-away stop in clear water.
- Scoglio Segato
- A huge boulder that broke from the island and split cleanly in two, as if cut by a saw.
Sea cave
- Bue Marino cave
- A 70 m sea cave with a tiny inner beach: when the sun reaches in, the shallows turn the walls blue. Named after the monk seal.
- Violets cave
- A cave with violet hues: algae on the submerged walls and the morning light tint the water in shades of violet.
- Swallows cave
- A large cave on the west side with two rock pillars forming an arch. At sunset the rays reach in and light up the walls.
- The Grottone cave
- A large sea cave beside the Architiello, 15 m high: reachable only from the sea.
Lighthouse
- San Domino lighthouse
- The lighthouse on San Domino's south-west point, where the coast drops sheer into the blue.
- Caprara lighthouse
- The northern tip of the archipelago, on the uninhabited island of Caprara: deep water, intense blue and silence.

- San Nicola
- The monastery island: the fortified Abbey of Santa Maria a Mare has watched over the village for over a thousand years. It is the archipelago’s historic mooring.
